Yeah, of course I found that out when an update inevitably broke and then learned about the incompetent developer reputation.
Manjaro 🤮, Poop_OS!, EndeavourOS, Fedora, CachyOS.
I think I should’ve started with Debian or Fedora. Those first three didn’t last long but whatever, eventually it clicked with Fedora and I learned enough to try something Arch based with a better reputation again.

1·30 days agoMy local dump has an e-waste section. Corps straight up drop off 6x6x6 ft. tall cage totes full old laptops and desktops. Then the grandma bins full of VHS players and stuff.
There’s signs saying you can’t take anything, but nobody actually cares or stops you lol. As long as you’re not causing trouble or making a mess digging deep into them.
I’d say a lot of the backend stuff has the stars aligning now for such potential. Front end user experience is increasingly the sore spot now.
