Well you see one device is made by Microsoft which has been the defacto way to watch videos for a large chunk of its lifespan and the other gave us UMDs and camcorders with cables that could only connect to Vaio laptops, which were the only devices that supported writing to mini-disc
I would not recommend PS5+Plex. I went through the whole set-up and the PS5 couldn’t encode over half my videos. When playback did work it was often choppy. I dislike that it has ads all over the place but the ONN Streaming Pro does a way better job as Plex streaming device at $45 than my PS5. Plus the controller will be much easier for simple tech users, you can rebind one of the buttons to go directly to Plex
A connection to young people
Sure, but again, why? People who care about the physical feel of books just get them from the library. People who want something convenient have e-readers. It feels like a worst of both worlds more than a best
Didn’t they already trim down ARR? I thought that was during Endwalker or Dawntrail
But yeah, very few video games have made me cry and Endwalker was one of them
