  • Same. Honestly I’m most excited for when Billie bust up comes out. It’s sort of got a Spyro the dragon feel to it plus some musical elements to the boss fights , it’s cute and light and I don’t care that the target market is children.

They have some promotional demos up on a few sites but it’s mostly been community and word of mouth spreading it. No obnoxious and invasive ads. And it’s super effective to me since I stumbled across it rather than had it thrust in my face screaming “BUY ME!”

  • I want to redo my homelab setup. I’m probably going to relent and go x86 just because parts availability sucks here but those boards have low power draw, decent IO, small so you can design your own case easier, and I like the idea of keeping away from x86 if I can.

This thing is gonna run routing traffic and downloading shit and hosting my media etc. that means it’s ideal most of the time so low power draw matters more than a gaming pc would.

I’m also hesitant to use x86 chips for anything directly exposed to LAN. The backdoors in those things are crazy and I am just not skilled enough to do much about them.

  • Ugh, I’m 40 now and finally having this problem I have big gaps in my teeth so nothing ever get stuck there thanks to my divorced parents fighting over who pays for braces and it just never getting done.

Now I bleed from this one spot under my gums all the time. It’s not even in a hard to reach place. My body just decided one day “the one, right there, blow it”.

Dentist doesn’t see an infection or anything, I’ve never had a cavity before and still don’t. But time gets us all I guess.

I am so sick of tasting metal all the time!

  • I fall pretty squarely into the script kiddie category compared to a lot of people on here and arch wikis has been an incredibly valuable resource.

“I want to do X like Y. Surely someone much of done this by now.” Arch wiki: “funny you should mention that. Here is free documentation that is pretty up to date, has lots of detail and examples, but don’t drown you.”

Seriously, I look at red hat and debian documentation and little ADHD brain hamster just strokes the fuck out on his wheel. Arch wiki is a comfortable ride. It’s just…digestible if that makes any sense.
