I have a Google phone, which has YouTube embedded on it. I can’t remove it. I had to disable it, then tell my phone to redirect all YouTube links to my browser. Now I can block ads again!

Might be simple for you, for me and for many around here, but… anything that involves adb is far from simple to the vast majority of people who use Android

I suppose; however, I usually link a few sites that basically hold a users hand while leading them through it. Including text to copy and paste into the command line and how to open the command line. Pretty much anything that might be a barrier is taken care of.

You can install Shizuku and Canta then. Shizuku provides the necessary permissions for Canta to run adb commands if you are scared of the command line.

You won’t type out even a single command in the terminal, I guarantee it.

…but I’m not scared of the command line, in fact I use adb to remove bloat from my phone from time to time. What I said is that majority of people using android aren’t like us. But yeah, it’s good that tools like those you pointed out exists, I’m sure there is an audience for them

            You could learn something new.

Or you could just give up without even trying I guess.

            They’re both options.
